isometric view and planar graph

The rhombicuboctahedron is one of the few Archimedian solids drawn by Leonardo da Vinci. Comparing the isometric drawing with the Schlegel diagram you immediately see the advantages and disadvantages of both representations. The isometric drawing gives a good impression of shape, where the planar graph shows the configuration of vertices and edges. When it comes to opposite points, it's far more easy to identificate them in the isometric view.
