Conics on Special Paper
A favorite lesson is using special graph paper to introduce conic sections. Parallel lines and concentric circles for parabolas, and 2 sets of intersecting concentric circles for ellipses and hyperbolas. I saw a Sol LeWitt piece and this just popped into my head.
I couldn't figure out how to restrict D to the intersection of the circles, so if you have an idea, let me know!
