This shows the first six iterations of a fractal tree. The first two sliders control the relative length of the two branches. Each branch is a fixed fraction of the preceding branch; the fraction varies from 0 to 3/4 for both the right and the left branches. The second two sliders control the angle of the branches; each right branch is rotated through a fixed angle from the preceding in a clockwise direction, and each left branch is rotated through another fixed angle in a counterclockwise direction. The angles vary from 0 to 90 degrees.
Hitting play will animate the tree, with all four parameters varying continuously under different frequencies. Click the reset icon to start over.
There's nothing significant about the colors; they're there just to make the picture pretty.
